Minchinhampton Golf Club (The New Course boasts 2 courses) is only 5 minutes from the Amberley B&B Hotel whilst the hotel itself practically sits on the 12th of Minchinhamptons Old Golf Course and if three courses are not enough Painswick Golf Club is 10 minutes drive whilst the Cotswolds Edge Golf Club is only 10 minutes in the opposite direction.

If you are looking for a golf weekend, we are one of the few Cotswold hotels to have so many in such close proximity. Only a "T" off away are both the old and New Minchinhampton Golf courses. Painswick Golf course is approx 15 minutes drive. Special rates have been negotiated on your behalf and are payable direct to the golf club.

So if its the ideal golf weekend your looking for then the Amberley Hotel B&B couldn't be a finer choice there no need to even drive to the first hole (although that may sound like a bad golfing pun its true) so with a hearty breakfast on board you can stroll out of the door straight onto the Minchinhampton Old course and start your day with a good solid drive of the first Tee knowing that sinking a few in the 19th after wont stop you from getting home.

Minchinhampton Golf Festival

Minchinhampton Golf Club welcomes visitors from The Amberley Hotel B&B. Guests staying at the hotel B&B qualify for a generous discount. Bookings must be made direct with the golf club. In early August, the Club holds a Golf Festival. For one week a visitor can be a temporary member of the Club at a cost of £10, and play as many times as he or she wishes in the Festival Competitions at £5 per entry. This has to be the golfing bargain of the year; a round of golf each day for six days at a total cost of £40, and a chance to win some prizes too and the afternoon free to explore the delightful country side. The Festival Week is opened with an Pro AM competition, and closed by the Open Mixed Foursomes.
