All our Hotel bedrooms have been sympathetically decorated with brand new en-suite bathrooms; some have a Jacobean four-poster bed with outstanding views over The Five Valleys of Stroud. (see the glorious Cotswold view in the above picture). Whilst our secluded Garden Cottage offers a more secluded stay.

Recently refurbished the Amberley Inn Hotel offers 14 rooms all of which have been sympathetically decorated with brand new bathrooms. We offer many styles of rooms some of which offer Jacobean four-poster beds, whilst some offer extra beds which are suitable for family's. If peace and quiet is your thing we can also offer rooms in our attractive Cotswold Garden Cottage.

There are many attractions based locally, Tetbury is a must for Antique lovers, Westonbirt Arboretum for gardening fanatics and Slimbridge wetlands trust for nature lovers. For those who love to shop, Cheltenham Spa and Bath are both easily accessible. Gloucester docks are a great day out for all the family, recently restored; the 15 Victorian warehouses stand as proud guardians to Britain's most important port. Now it offers an antique centre, award wining museum, specialist shops with restaurants, coffee shops and bars.

Weather it be a hearty breakfast to prepare you for a brisk walk in the Gloucestershire countryside or a romantic supper to wine and dine your loved. The Amberley restaurant superb team of chef's have the ideal dish for you. Whilst the internal decor of the Hotel gives the impression of a country house the kitchens fresh traditional cuisine gives you a true taste of Cotswolds country fayre prepared to order by our superb team of chef's.

Local produce is very much a focal point within the hotel. We strive, where possible, to purchase locally from the local farmers and weekly visit the towns farmers markets. An extensive wine list from around the world is available to accompany the many menus we have to offer. We are proud to have a cabernet merlot and sauvignon blanc named after the village of Amberley.

We try to cater for everyone's needs offering a variety of menus to suit everyone's needs.

Route from M5 Junction 13 to The Amberley Inn

1. Leave M5 at Junction 13 and head towards Stroud on the A419

2. At the third roundabout, take the third exit following the A419

3. At the next roundabout, take the first exit and follow the A419

4. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto A46 (Bath Road) Dudbridge Hill

5. Turn left onto Culver Hill (The second turning on the left after the Fleece at Rooksmoor.)

6. Arrive at the Amberley Inn (Route about 10 minutes by Car)
