Hotel / Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

All our Hotel bedrooms have been sympathetically decorated with brand new en-suite bathrooms; some have a Jacobean four-poster bed with outstanding views over The Five Valleys of Stroud. (see the glorious Cotswold view in the above picture). Whilst our secluded Garden Cottage offers a more secluded stay.

Recently refurbished the Amberley Inn Hotel offers 14 rooms all of which have been sympathetically decorated with brand new bathrooms. We offer many styles of rooms some of which offer Jacobean four-poster beds, (see romantic weekend breaks below) whilst some offer extra beds which are suitable for family's. If peace and quiet is your thing we can also offer rooms in our attractive Cotswold Garden Cottage.

Not only do we offer a picturesque setting and luxury accommodation our superb chef Ben Glassonbury, who having worked in many Michelin restaurants across the country has assured the Amberley Inn Restaurant this year of its place in one of there renowned guides.

There are many attractions based locally, Tetbury is a must for Antique lovers, Westonbirt Arboretum for gardening fanatics and Slimbridge wetlands trust for nature lovers. For those who love to shop, Cheltenham Spa and Bath are both easily accessible. Gloucester docks are a great day out for all the family, recently restored; the 15 Victorian warehouses stand as proud guardians to Britain's most important port. Now it offers an antique centre, award wining museum, specialist shops with restaurants, coffee shops and bars.

Amberley Restaurant

Weather it be a hearty breakfast to prepare you for a brisk walk in the Gloucestershire countryside or a romantic supper to wine and dine your loved. The Amberley restaurant superb team of chef's have the ideal dish for you. Whilst the internal decor of the Hotel gives the impression of a country house the kitchens fresh traditional cuisine gives you a true taste of Cotswolds country fayre prepared to order by our superb team of chef's.

Local produce is very much a focal point within the hotel. We strive, where possible, to purchase locally from the local farmers and weekly visit the towns farmers markets. An extensive wine list from around the world is available to accompany the many menus we have to offer. We are proud to have a cabernet merlot and sauvignon blanc named after the village of Amberley.

We try to cater for everyone's needs offering a variety of menus to suit everyone's needs.

Conferences and business meetings

The hotel being only 10-15 minutes drive from the Stroud junction of the M5 (J13),yet sitting in the heart of a Minchinhampton Common a national trust site of outstanding natural beauty. Makes it the ideal location for Conferences and Business meetings. Our peaceful and quiet, Cotswold countryside location make us the obvious choice for those serious meetings which don't need interruption. Over the years my team and I have very much focused on understanding the needs and requirements of the small meeting and conference market. Along the way we have achieved awards for both the quality of food and an award for business and meeting excellence.

Excellent meals

Lunch can be very much tailored around your own needs. There is ample choice of menus and ideas. Should you require a working lunch, our tappas menu makes a good way of mixing work whilst eating. If its something light and away from the meeting room, the bar and lounge menu will offer you light and innovative food which where possible is organic and using local produce. The restaurant is also available should you require a more formal setting, where we can offer you the choice of a two and three course table d`hote lunch or buffet.
